Memorial fund made for A&M professor

The Zachry Department of Civil Engineering has created a memorial fund in memory of associate professor Timothy Kramer, who died in a plane crash last month.

University officials said the fund, if it grows large enough, will be used to permanently endow the Timothy A. Kramer Outstanding Faculty Award. The award will be given to a faculty member who demonstrates dedication, compassion and genuine caring for students and their scholastic and personal pursuits - traits that officials said were embodied by Kramer.

Donations should be sent to the Texas A&M Foundation via John S. Small '92, director of development - civil engineering, Texas A&M Foundation, 334K Wisenbaker Engineering Research Center, 3126 TAMU, College Station, TX 77843-3126. Checks should have "T.A. Kramer Endowment" on the subject line.
